RCIA

RCIA -- RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the Catholic Church's process for welcoming adult inquirers who are interested in becoming members of the Roman Catholic Church. It is a process which follows the Church's liturgical year and leads up to the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist). It is for adults (18 or older) a) in need of Baptism, b) baptized in another Christian tradition who desire to become Catholic, and c) baptized Catholic in need of First Communion and/or Confirmation.

Adults wishing to be baptized or join the Catholic Church will need to attend RCIA. Catholics who want to learn more about their faith are encouraged to attend.
